LetYouKnow User Privacy Policy

LetYouKnow, Inc.’s (“LetYouKnow,” “we,” “us” or “our”) Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and process personal data through the LetYouKnow website, the LetYouKnow iPhone application, the LetYouKnow Android application and other mobile applications (collectively known as the “LetYouKnow Platform” or the “Platform”). By using the LetYouKnow Platform and providing your information to us, you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy. You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use the LetYouKnow Platform. Please do not provide your information to us if you are under eighteen (18) years of age.

Information That We Collect

1. Automatically Collected Information

LetYouKnow may automatically collect information such as your device location, IP address, type of browser, devices and operating systems you use, identifiers associated with the device(s) you use to access the Platform, information related to your internet service provider, the addresses of the websites that you navigate to and from, cookies, third-party cookies, web beacons, local shared objects, and any other analytic tool technologies as they evolve over time. We may also collect information regarding your vehicle price bid(s). You should refer to your web browser(s) instructions to modify your cookie settings, but please note that if you delete or choose not to accept cookies from us, you may miss out on certain features of the LetYouKnow Platform.

2. Information That You Provide To LetYouKnow

We may collect the following information that you choose to provide to us, such as the below:

a) Information that you provide to us when you sign up for an account on the LetYouKnow Platform, including your name, address, telephone number and email address;

b) The username and password that you provide to us when you sign up for an account on the Platform and/or social networking website user account names used to sign in to our Platform;

c) Financial information that you provide to us, so we can process your transaction for the nonrefundable $799.00 Service and Reservation Fee on the Platform, such as the cardholder’s payment card number, verification number, expiration date and the cardholder’s address;

d) Information that you provide when you participate in online chats or other interactive sessions; and

e) Information that you may provide to us when you participate in any promotions that we may offer.

3. Other Information We May Collect

LetYouKnow also may receive information about you from other sources, such as public databases and/or joint marketing partners. We may also collect information regarding the effectiveness of our promotions and our operations to expand our business activities.

4. How We May Use the Information We Collect:

a) To Provide Your Information to the Matched Dealership - LetYouKnow must share your contact information with the dealership that accepts your vehicle price bid after your transaction for the nonrefundable $799.00 Service and Reservation Fee is completed on our Platform, so the matched dealership can reach you if necessary. We will provide the matched dealership with your name, address, email address and telephone number. We will also share your financing option to the matched dealership. We will not share any payment information with the matched dealership that you provide to us when we process your transaction on our Platform;

b) To Provide Customer Support - LetYouKnow may use your information to assist you in resolving any issue(s) that you may have or to respond to any question(s) that you may have regarding the Platform and/or your transaction with us. We may communicate with you directly by telephone, text, email or online chat about your transaction and/or your account;

c) For Security - LetYouKnow may use your information to authenticate your account, to find and prevent fraud and block and remove fraudulent users from the LetYouKnow Platform. LetYouKnow may also use your information to protect our rights, privacy, property and security of you and/or others;

d) To Improve the LetYouKnow Platform - LetYouKnow may use your personal information to operate the LetYouKnow Platform, to develop new features, services and perform research and analysis to improve our Platform;

e) For Our Referral Program - When you refer someone to the LetYouKnow Platform, we may ask you to provide your referral’s email address so we can send them an email requesting that they sign up for an account on the LetYouKnow Platform. You must know the person that you are referring to LetYouKnow and you must have authorization from them to share their email with us. We will store their email address to track the success of our referral program. We do not share any information with your referral regarding the details of your transaction(s) with LetYouKnow; and

f) Promotions - If you choose to receive information about any promotions that we may have, we will communicate with you by the method of communication that you choose on our Platform.

5. Communication Choices

When you sign up for an account with LetYouKnow on our Platform, we will send you an email to confirm the email address that you provided to us. If you change your email address after initially signing up for your account, we will not send you an email to confirm that you changed your email address. If we find a vehicle that matches your vehicle price bid and after your transaction for the nonrefundable $799.00 Service and Reservation Fee has been completed with us, we will then send you an email confirming the details of your transaction with us and the name, address and phone number of the matched dealership where you will complete your vehicle purchase. We will also send you an email if we cannot find a match for your requested vehicle price bid and that email may contain tips for your future vehicle price bids and/or other information that may be useful to you. You may choose to receive text messages, push notifications and marketing-related emails from us by setting your notification preferences in your account profile.

6. Third-Party Websites

Our Platform contains links to other websites that are not owned by us. This Privacy Policy only applies to information that we collect on our Platform. You are responsible and liable for any information that you provide to any third-party websites that have links on our Platform. Your use of any linked third-party websites is at your own risk (including when you sign in with any third-party companies, such as Facebook Connect, Google Plus and Apple). You are advised to review the privacy policies of any linked third-party websites as the information you provide third-party websites is collected and stored by those third parties.

7. Sharing Your Information For Legal Purposes

LetYouKnow will provide your personal information to respond to government entities, or other regulatory bodies in order to comply with any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation and/or any enforceable government request. We may also share your information in order to enforce our Terms and Conditions that you agreed to, including defending legal claims to protect LetYouKnow’s rights, interests, and property as required or permitted by law. If you choose to delete your LetYouKnow account we may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or to comply with any legal obligations. We may also share your personal information while negotiating or in relation to a change of corporate control, such as a restructuring, merger, or sale of our assets.

8. Storing and Protecting Your Information

LetYouKnow will retain the information that we collect from you and about you for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When the information is no longer necessary for these purposes, we delete it. We currently use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to protect your information while in transit. We take reasonable and appropriate measures designed to protect your personal information, but no security measures can be completely effective, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information, including acts by third parties.

9. California Privacy Rights

Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code states that residents of California may obtain information about the types of personal information that companies with whom they have an established business relationship have shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes. Specifically, the law states that companies must inform consumers about the categories of personal information that have been shared with third parties, the names and addresses of those third parties, and examples of the types of services or products marketed by those third parties. To request a copy of the information disclosure provided by LetYouKnow, Inc. pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, please contact us via email at legal@letyouknow.com. Please allow 30 days for a response.

10. Do Not Track

At this time, there is no uniform or consistent standard or definition for responding to, processing, or communicating Do Not Track signals. Therefore, like many other websites, our Platform is currently unable to respond to Do Not Track Signals.

11. Text Messaging

If you contact LetYouKnow, Inc. via text message, we may respond by SMS. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

12. Privacy Policy Updates

LetYouKnow may change this Privacy Policy at any time. Please refer to the date at the top of this page to see when this Privacy Policy was last changed. Any changes to the Privacy Policy will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on our Platform. We recommend that you review this Privacy Policy whenever you visit the Platform. By using our Platform, or providing information to us following these changes, you accept the revised Privacy Policy.

13. Deleting Your Account and Personal Information

To delete your account, email info@letyouknow.com from the email address(es) you signed up with and include the following: your full name & specific instructions to delete your account and information.
